How can I be sure I'm meditating correctly? How can I be sure I'm meditating correctly?

How can I be sure I'm meditating correctly?

Anais Anais

"There are very few easy successes and final failures." Marcel Proust

With meditation, there's no particular target to achieve, which means it's impossible to get things wrong, to fail or to meditate badly. However, it's important to remember that it isn't necessarily pleasant or relaxing. Any difficulties that you might encounter (wandering mind, pain, boredom etc.) are perfectly normal and part of the process. Facing the turmoil of your mind is a learning process in itself.

Ultimately, what's important is the attitude with which you approach meditation, rather than what you do during your session. Your attitude will determine the benefits you receive from meditating. Carefully follow the instructions in our audio sessions.

Above all, meditating means opening yourself to what is and discovering a space in which you can train your attention to concentrate on particular subjects, but also relegate them to the background.
