It's really up to you to decide when you can meditate. There's no good or bad time. You simply have to make it a habit, a routine that forms part of your everyday life. Some people meditate in the morning when they wake up. Others after their shower, or when they arrive at work. Others still after lunch, during lunch, after dinner, after a workout, in the evening when they get home, while walking the dog, before sleeping... In other words, there are as many possible 'best' times as there are meditators. Find what best suits you and stick to it. Choose a time when you aren't likely to be disturbed, when you can be comfortable and aren't too tired, when you need calmness and clarity... 

We also suggest that, if you like, you extend the experience with brief informal meditations (10 seconds to 1-2 minutes) at any point in the day to reconnect with yourself. For example, at the start of a meeting, as you walk along a corridor, on public transport, while eating...

It is quite normal to experience difficulties in practising regularly.

In the turmoil of your everyday life, you may forget to take care of yourself. You may even forget that you should take care of yourself. And your need to regain a state of calmness and clarity gets forgotten in the rush.

Meditation is a systematic process of training your attention to return to the initial subject, without following the meandering route of your thoughts. In the same way, throughout the day you should train your attention to return to the present moment and to your breath, even if only for a few seconds.

Try to identify brief moments during your daily life (sitting, opening a door, walking etc.) which could become tiny reminders to be conscious.


Do you enjoy the quality of your presence during the meditation sessions? Imagine being similarly present and conscious at other moments in your life, and not merely during these formal sessions. If you like, straight after the session, take the time to savour a few more moments of calmness rather than immediately plunging back into your activities. 

Start by clearly identifying what you're going to do first, and where you'll go next. 

List each mini action, and anticipate how you will consciously carry out this string of mundane tasks. If possible, try to control the breaks between one activity and another so that you retain the quality of presence and the special state of calmness, lucidity and serenity that's linked to meditation.

Petit BamBou account holders can access the services in two ways:

• With "discovery" access: a free service that gives you unlimited access to our 'Discovery' program, consisting of eight sessions. It also includes the 'Discovery kids', 'Breathing Discovery' programs, and three meditations of the day.

• With a paid subscription or gift card: a paid service that gives you access to all the content in our catalog, in addition to the free trial sessions included with "Discovery" access.

What is the subscription for?

Subscriptions give you access to the entire catalog, including over 700 meditations, for as long as you remain a subscriber, on the app (Android and iOS) AND the website.

Once you subscribe, you can access your sessions on all your devices, including phone, computer, and tablet.

How much does it cost?

Petit BamBou offers several premium access options:

1. SOLO subscription (monthly, annual, and lifetime)

2. FAMILY subscription (monthly or annual)

3. Student offer

4. Gift cards

How does it work?

• The "monthly," "annual," and "lifetime" SOLO subscriptions, as well as the FAMILY subscription, can only be purchased on our website.
• The monthly subscription is paid by recurring automatic payment each month, and the annual subscription is paid by recurring automatic payment each year.

Unless you cancel, your subscription will be automatically renewed for the same duration as the initial period, and the recurring subscription fees will be charged at the rate in effect at that time.

You can, of course, cancel the automatic renewal of your subscription at any time directly in your account.

• The lifetime subscription is non-renewable and is paid in a single payment at the time of subscription, or can be paid in four installments if you use PayPal.
• The student offer is for one year, with a single payment. Access ends automatically after 12 months, without renewal. +More info
• Gift cards are available here. They give access to the entire catalog for a period of 3, 6, 12 months, or lifetime, depending on the option chosen. Access ends automatically at the end of each period, with no automatic renewal or payment.

No requests for revocation, cancellation, or full or partial refunds will be accepted after the order has been confirmed (excluding the 14-day withdrawal period). The 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply once the gift card is active on one's account.

What do I have access to once my subscription ends?

Once your subscription ends, you will regain access to the 3 discovery programs, the Calming Breath, free meditation and breathing, the heart coherence tool, the selection of sounds, and the 19 short stories.

You will not keep the sessions preloaded during your subscription.

However, you will keep your progress and history. If you wish to resubscribe at a later date, you will find your progress linked to the email address used to create your Petit BamBou account.

If you particularly enjoyed a session and feel the need to replay it, feel free to do so. You can replay it as many times as you like as long as it is part of your subscription.

However, the sessions of the day cannot be replayed on other days and be added to the favourites. We have chosen to offer you temporary sessions, in the image of what meditation teaches us: let yourself be surprised, live the moment, then let it pass...

Who can offer sessions?

This feature is for subscribers only.

What type of session can I offer?

As a subscriber, you can share any session from any program in the Petit BamBou catalog.

You cannot share a meditation of the day or a quick or free session.

How do I offer a session?

Click the three small dots next to the title to share a session. Then click on "Share this session".

Once you click "Generate link" or the 🔗 icon, one session from your three to offer will be automatically deducted.

You can send this link to the person of your choice by copying and pasting it as you wish, or by using the options enabled by your smartphone (via message, Whatsapp, etc.).

Who can I offer a session to?

You can offer it to whoever you like! If the person is not a subscriber, this gives them free access to the session for one month. If they have a Petit BamBou subscription, they have access anyway, making it easier to find in the catalog.

Even if they don't have an account or use Petit BamBo, it still works: They'll be invited to download the app and create an account to access it (or go to the website).

How many sessions can I offer?

As a subscriber, you can share up to 3 sessions per month. On the first day of each month, your counter resets to 3, whether you've shared a session or not.

There are two ways to activate it: scan the QR code or enter the code manually.

1. Scan the QR code on your card

Once scanned, you will be redirected to our website or app. If necessary, log in to an existing account or create a Petit BamBou account. Then, click on the "Activate my code" button.

2. Enter the code manually

You can do this directly in the app or on our website.

a. In the app
   Click on "Me" at the bottom right of your screen, then on the cogwheel at the top right. Finally, click on     "Activate a gift code", enter the code, and confirm it to activate your access.

b. On the website

    Go to https://www.petitbambou.com/en/activate-gift-card

    Log in to an existing account or create a Petit BamBou account, then enter the code that was sent to          you with the card, and that's it!

Note: If you already have an active subscription, you will not be able to activate your gift card right away. You will first need to cancel your current subscription and wait for it to end before you can activate your gift card. Be sure to use the same email address to activate your gift card so that you can find all your progress and pick up your sessions where you left off.
