Breathing is a vital function we can all easily achieve (as we all know, we breathe every day!). It is a simple, natural and effective way to balance the physical and psychological.
For all, the practice of breathing can be a lever for learning to look at oneself, which then opens up to other disciplines.
This practice is very present in meditation, which is why you can often hear in our sessions " focus on your breath ", " come back to your breath ".
This is one of the keys to discovering meditation!
When you meditate, it is very common to use your breathing as an anchor point to help you come back to the present moment. Nevertheless, during your meditation sessions this breathing is natural, it is not modified, not forced, you simply observe it.
However in the breathing exercises, you will be asked to control the inhalations and exhalations according to a certain rhythm.
Try to carefully identify the two exercises, which do not have the same objectives, and do not hesitate to ask us if you have the slightest doubt!
